2. 'It sure is' - 'Surely' is more often used
- Definitely! Absolutely! Damn straight it is! It certainly is!
- Surely it will rain tomorrow.
A: "This cake is great!"
B: "It sure is (great)!"
A: Isn't it nice today?
B: It sure is!
